Dr. Reena Sandhu

I am a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in clinical psychology. In addition to my private practice, I most recently held the position of Inpatient Psychologist at Vancouver General Hospital. Working in the Segal Family Health Centre at VGH has allowed me to cultivate my skills in identifying differential diagnoses and working in multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. My experience working in a hospital setting translates to my collaborative approach in private practice, as I am adept at working with psychiatrists, family physicians and other allied healthcare professionals.

My hospital work extends to a special initiative that I co-founded called Grind for the Mind, in support of mental health services at Richmond Hospital. The event raised $250,000 over four years and led to the successful implementation of a new Patient- and Family-Centered Model of Care, a first of its kind in British Columbia.

In addition to providing online therapy and psychological assessments for adults, I also offer consultations and workshops to high performing corporate teams and vital health organizations throughout British Columbia.
